Guide 10 of 11Saving and exporting
Exporting makes the file your slicer needs. Saving keeps your editable project.

| Format | Use it for |
|---|---|
| STL Ctrl+E | Any slicer, single color. The most common choice. |
| 3MF Pass · Maker · Seller | Keeps colors, named parts and units. Open it in Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer, PrusaSlicer or Cura and each part arrives with its color, ready for AMS and multi-tool printers. |
| OBJ | Other 3D programs (Blender and similar). |
| SVG | The top-view outlines, for laser cutters, vinyl cutters and drawing programs. |
Selected only Pass · Maker · Seller exports just the selected parts, named after the part, which is handy for printing pieces separately.
The first time you export, the app asks for your email to set up your free account. Files are made in your browser and download straight to your device; your designs are not uploaded.
Project files
Save (Ctrl+S) downloads a .json project that keeps every shape and setting editable. Open (Ctrl+O) loads it again on any computer. Name the project at the top of the app and your files are named after it.
Automatic saving: your current design is also kept in this browser as you work, including after a refresh. A private or incognito window forgets it when closed, and very large designs (big traced photos) may be too big to keep; the app tells you if so. Use Save for anything you want to keep.
