Terms of Service
These terms are written to be read. The short version: design freely, you own what you make, the 7-Day Pass never renews, subscriptions renew until you cancel online, and selling what you make requires the Seller plan.
1. Agreement
These Terms of Service ("Terms") are an agreement between you and HoprSpringsVentures, LLC ("we", "us"), which operates Extrudable at extrudable3d.com and its apps (the "Service"). By using the Service you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you use the Service for an organization, you agree on its behalf and confirm you're authorized to do so.
2. Who we are
HoprSpringsVentures, LLC, an Ohio limited liability company. You can reach us at support@extrudable3d.com.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old, or the minimum age for online services where you live if higher, to use the Service. If you are under 18, a parent or guardian must agree to these Terms and is responsible for any purchases. The Service is not directed at children under 13.
4. Your account
You can design without an account. Exporting files requires a free account with a valid email address. Keep your login secure; you're responsible for activity on your account. Tell us promptly if you think someone else has accessed it. One account is for one person; please don't share logins.
5. Plans, billing and renewals
5.1 Free plan
Free accounts can use the design tools and export the formats listed on our Pricing page. We may set reasonable limits to prevent abuse.
5.2 7-Day Pass (one-time, never renews)
The 7-Day Pass costs US$5 plus any applicable tax, charged once. It gives the features listed for the pass for 7 consecutive days (168 hours) starting at purchase, then ends automatically. The pass never renews and never converts into a subscription. We do not store your card for future charges from a pass purchase. The pass is for personal use only (see section 6).
5.3 Subscriptions (Maker and Seller)
- Automatic renewal. Maker (US$6/month or US$49/year) and Seller (US$12/month or US$99/year) renew automatically at the end of each billing period, charging the payment method on file the then-current price plus tax, until you cancel.
- Cancel any time, online. Cancel from your account's billing page in a few clicks; no phone call or email is needed. Cancellation stops the next renewal; you keep access until the end of the period you've paid for.
- Annual reminders. We email you at least 7 days before an annual plan renews, with the amount and a link to cancel.
- Price changes. We'll give at least 30 days' notice by email before a price change applies to your subscription, and you can cancel before it takes effect.
- Founding member price. The first 100 Seller members who subscribe yearly pay US$79/year. That price stays locked as long as the subscription continues without interruption. If it is cancelled and expires, or is refunded, the founding price ends and any new subscription is at the regular price.
- Plan changes. Upgrades take effect immediately with credit for unused time on your current plan; downgrades take effect at the next renewal.
5.4 Payments and taxes
Payments are processed by [Payment provider, e.g. Lemon Squeezy or Paddle], which acts as the merchant of record and handles sales tax, VAT and receipts. Your purchase is also subject to its buyer terms. Prices are in US dollars; taxes are added at checkout where required. Refunds are covered in our Refunds & Cancellation Policy.
6. Licenses: personal and commercial use
6.1 Using the Service
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service under these Terms and your plan.
6.2 Personal use (Free, 7-Day Pass and Maker)
You may use files you create, and objects printed from them, for personal, non-commercial purposes. That includes printing for yourself, giving prints as gifts, using them in school or personal projects, and sharing your own designs for free. Personal use does not include selling prints or files, offering printing as a paid service, or using designs to promote or run a business.
6.3 Commercial use (Seller)
While your Seller subscription is active, you may sell physical objects printed from designs you create with the Service, sell or license the digital files of those designs, and use them in your business. Items you made and sold under an active Seller plan stay licensed after the plan ends; new commercial use requires an active plan.
6.4 What no plan allows
You may not resell, sublicense or redistribute the Service itself, its source code, or its built-in shapes, fonts or templates as standalone products, or use the Service to build a competing product.
7. Your designs and uploads
You own your designs. We don't claim ownership of anything you create or upload. You give us a limited permission to store and process your content only as needed to run the Service for you, for example to generate a file when you export or to keep your projects in your account.
You're responsible for what you upload and make. Only use images, logos, characters, fonts and text that you own or have permission to use. Brand logos and characters are usually protected by trademark or copyright; a commercial plan does not give you rights to other people's intellectual property. We respond to valid notices of infringement sent to support@extrudable3d.com and may remove content and close repeat infringers' accounts.
8. Acceptable use
Don't use the Service to make, or help make, weapons or weapon parts, items intended to harm people, or anything illegal where you live; don't infringe others' rights; don't try to break, overload, reverse-engineer around paid features of, or gain unauthorized access to the Service; and don't use automated means to access it except through features we provide.
9. Our software and open-source parts
The Service, including its code, design and content, belongs to HoprSpringsVentures, LLC and its licensors. Some components are open-source software, each under its own license; those notices are shown in the app under About, and nothing in these Terms limits your rights under those licenses. Feedback you send us may be used to improve the Service without obligation to you.
10. Printed objects and safety
The Service creates digital models. How a printed object turns out depends on your printer, materials, settings and use. Tools such as print preview, thin-spot checks and bed-contact warnings are aids, not guarantees. Do not rely on printed objects for safety-critical, load-bearing, medical or child-safety purposes, and check suitability before using prints in contact with food or skin. Typical home-printed plastics are not certified food-safe, and printed surfaces can trap bacteria.
11. Disclaimers
To the fullest extent the law allows, the Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We don't promise the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that files will be suitable for every printer or purpose. Some places don't allow these exclusions, so some may not apply to you.
12. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, HoprSpringsVentures, LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, materials or printer time. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim or US$50. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
13. Indemnity
You agree to defend and hold us harmless from claims arising from content you upload or create, objects you print or sell, or your breach of these Terms, except to the extent caused by us.
14. Suspension and termination
You can stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or close accounts that break these Terms or put the Service or others at risk, with notice where reasonable. If we end a paid plan without cause, we'll refund the unused portion.
15. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms. For material changes we'll give at least 30 days' notice by email or in the app before they take effect. If you keep using the Service after that, the new Terms apply; if you don't agree, you can cancel before they take effect.
16. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Ohio, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Please contact us first; most issues can be resolved quickly by email. Any dispute that can't be resolved informally will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Wayne County, Ohio, unless the law where you live gives you the right to bring it locally. Consumers keep any rights their local law provides.
